Day 1

Transfer from Cairo to Alexandria. Begin your tour at the Fort Quaitbey which stands on the foundations of the former lighthouse of Alexandria.
Consider including the single, solitary column known as Pompey’s Pillar, the Roman Catacombs and the Roman amphitheater, all of which are located fairly centrally.
Alexandria is home to a variety of ancient sites which can then be appreciated in the afternoon. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2

Breakfast at hotel. Free time in Alexandria. Alexandria has plenty of opportunity for shopping. Even if you plan not to buy anything, perusing the city’s various markets is a good way to fill a morning and absorb some city life.
Optional tour to Montaza Palace Complex. The 150 acre gardens are a marvellous place to relax and enjoy several points of interest. These include former palace residencies, beaches, sea views and the facilities of the some of the city’s most prestigious and historic hotels in Alexandria. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 3

Breakfast at hotel. A third day in Alexandria can be used as a ‘beach’ day during the warmer months; visiting one of the city’s many beaches. Transfer back to Cairo.
